Mike Parker is one of the key figures behind techno’s most hypnotic and uncompromising strain. Emerging in the 2000s, he rejected big-room dynamics in favor of extreme reduction, crafting long, tense, looping tracks that reshape how time is felt on a dancefloor. His dry, relentless, and synthesized sound became foundational for what’s now known as hypnotic or deep techno, influencing generations of producers and DJs.

For 20 plus years, he has perfected a unique interpretation of techno. He will be sharing his approach in Toronto on Friday, Feb 20th.
