Klubnacht

Am Samstag vor Weihnachten präsentieren wir eine leicht abgespeckte Klubnacht, bei der wir ausschließlich den Berghain-Floor bespielen. Einer der acht DJs ist ein langjähriger Gast in unserer DJ-Booth: der US-amerikanische DJ Dustin Zahn. Er ist seit den späten 90ern als DJ und Partyveranstalter aktiv und hat in den frühen 00ern mit illegalen Warehouse-Raves die Midwest-Technoszene in Minnesota entscheidend mitgeprägt. Seine funktionalen, tribalesk anmutenden Technotracks veröffentlichte er anfangs auf Labels wie Drumcode, in den vergangenen Jahren waren es hauptsächlich Rekids, Blueprint und sein eigenes Label Enemy, das er 2004 gründete und auf dem er auch die Musik von Acts wie Rene Wise und Marcal eine Plattform bietet.

On the Saturday before Christmas, we will be presenting a slightly trimmed-down Klubnacht, taking place exclusively on the Berghain floor. One of the eight DJs is a long-time regular in our DJ booth: Dustin Zahn from the USA. He has been active as a DJ and party organizer since the late 90s and had a decisive influence on the Midwest techno scene in Minnesota in the early 00s with illegal warehouse raves. He started out releasing his functional, tribal-sounding techno tracks on labels such as Drumcode, but in recent years he has made the move to Rekids, Blueprint and his own label Enemy, which he founded in 2004, also an outlet for music by acts such as Rene Wise and Marcel.
