Dark Night Party: Parade Ground ✜ OKNHO ✜ DJ Set Tormentor Radio Show

About

TSC Records & Obsküre Media present Dark Night at QG 103 Oberkampf, in collaboration with the radio shows Indézine & Tormentor Radio Show (Radio Libertaire).

Parade Ground (Brussels, BE – EBM, Cold Wave)

Headlining the night is Parade Ground, one of the pioneering acts of Belgian Cold Wave and Electronic Body Music. Formed in 1981 by brothers Pierre and Jean-Marc Pauly, Parade Ground have been active for over four decades, shaping a singular aesthetic at the crossroads of minimal electronics, dancefloor tension and visual dadaism.

Originally rooted in an icy and radical cold wave sound, their music evolved throughout the 1980s towards more rhythmic and dance-oriented structures, built exclusively from synthetic melodies. Closely connected to the Belgian EBM scene, they collaborated extensively with members of Front 242, were produced by Colin Newman, and contributed to two Front 242 albums in the mid-1990s. Their album Rosary (2007), produced by Patrick Codenys, marked a strong return after a long hiatus dedicated to other artistic practices.

Renowned for their intense and unconventional live performances, often described as a “choreography of chaos”, Parade Ground continue to stand as a key reference for generations of electronic and post-industrial artists.

OKNHO (Brittany, FR – Industrial Darkwave)

OKNHO is a French industrial darkwave duo formed in 2017 by two long-standing figures of the electronic underground: Gwenn Trémorin (Flint Glass) and Boris Völt (Mode in Gliany), also co-founders of the Brume Records label.

Their music operates at the intersection of deep dark ambient, melancholic angst pop and industrial textures, incorporating elements of noise and darkwave. Entirely performed in French, OKNHO’s repertoire carries a raw emotional intensity, balancing tension, fragility and restraint.

The duo relies on an experimental and distinctive instrumentation — including theremin, open-tuned guitar and DIY synthesizers — to build dense, evolving sonic environments.

On stage, OKNHO present a linear and immersive live performance, drawing inspiration from surrealism (Artaud) and the theatrical universe of Bulgakov. The aesthetic is deliberately stripped-back and timeless, enhanced by black-and-white dadaist video projections, turning the concert into a hypnotic and introspective experience.

B-Side, D.Key, Maskirovka (Tormentor Radio Show)

Following the concerts, the team behind Tormentor Radio Show (B-Side, D.Key & Maskirovka) will deliver an extensive DJ set, oscillating widely across tempos, headspace corners and sonic corridors, spanning EBM, new wave, cold wave, synth-pop and electro-industrial.

For over twenty years, Tormentor Radio Show has been dedicated to discovering, promoting and exploring both current and past alternative music scenes. Every two weeks, the show offers an exclusive programme of interviews, sharp mixes and live performances, driven by an open, demanding and uncompromising musical vision. The show is broadcast on Radio Libertaire (89.4 FM in Paris and surrounding suburbs) and is also available online via platforms such as Mixcloud and YouTube.
