4 YEARS OF TERRA KONTRA w/ Jay Tripwire (CA)

What a milestone: exactly four years ago to the month, the first official "mayfly dance" took flight in Budapest, when we felt there was no turning back. At the end of February, Terra Kontra would like to show you where the crew stands today, joining forces with a true legend: Jay Tripwire (CA) returns to Hungary after a brief 14-year hiatus. It’s a huge honor to welcome him within the walls of Toldi during his European tour.

Jay has been a defining force in underground house and techno for over 30 years, with an extraordinary output of more than 400 vinyl releases, dozens of chart-topping records, and multiple aliases. Emerging in the 1990s, he helped shape a stripped-down deep house and techno sound rooted in warehouse culture, producing records that later became scene-defining classics, having produced tracks like "What Kind Of Voodoo?", "Acid Babies" or "How We Used To Do It". His tracks have been consistently supported by the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Raresh, Sonja Moonear, S.I.T., Rhadoo, Priku, and the list goes on... His relevance and influence is cemented in the underground, we could not have dreamed for a better headliner for our 4th anniversary party.
