Noah & Spurge, long-time fixtures of the New York nightlife and music scene, are taking their friendship on the road.

Having met a decade ago while helping to start up Brooklyn’s highly influential internet radio station, The Lot Radio, their friendship evolved through band projects, a dizzying amount of DJing, growing up alongside each other, and their mutual commitment to pursuing their dreams.

Pointing towards the twee energy and musical DNA of turn-of-the-century rave culture — XD PLUR XD — ‘Noah & Spurge’s Friendship Will Save Your Life’ presents friendship as a practice and model that, much like rave philosophy, feels urgent to share and informs the music the duo presents.

Diner is a musician born in late-1990s China, whose work bridges Eastern musical traditions with contemporary avant-garde expression. Classically trained in guzheng, Diner has lived and worked in Hong Kong and London, drawing from a rich multicultural journey and evolving from pentatonic roots into a distinct exploration of contemporary East Asian womanhood through embodied experience.

Her debut album, penta, released in July 2025, revisits the pentatonic scale while blending post-punk, electronic, and dance influences. The album reflects on bodily memory and emotional reconstruction, marking a shift from cultural commentary to personal introspection.
