Turning down the lights for this intimate showcase of all avenues of techno, including a live electronic set by isocore, an eclectic mix by L/IV, a bouncy one from Pyxi, and our Headline Hardgroove set with OP(99).

Being heavily influenced by electro, weird techno, Japanese- and library obscurities, as well as goth italo disco; isocore´s signature sound is very recognisable yet not easy to put down into words as he finds beauty in more difficult solutions for simple tasks with the means of production sometimes being as important as the result. His setup is a constantly evolving and complicated concoction of cheap and high technology.

Making a name for herself in Liverpool through her online mixes, L/IV is bridging the genres at Volume V from Techno to Hardgroove!

Pyxi is a Welsh DJ, a Queensway resident, co-founder of Humble Abode. Being a Studio Picnic resident DJ, Pyxi is no stranger to Commune and has played across Liverpool with his sets moving between techno, electro, darkwave and trance.

A regular behind the decks at the Kazimier Gardens and the former Bakery as well as from gigs with BLC/CLB and POLYONE. Expect fast tribal infused techno with the odd rhythm changer here or there for the closing of Volume V.

Glad to be back at Commune and on until 2 AM, this is gonna be a late one.
